Well, in light of the recently released New Moon movie (the second in the Twilight Saga) I've been seeing a lot of anti-Twilight fan art. Since I'm not a Twilight fan, I personally get a kick out of some of these entries. However, there is something that disturbs me. The word hate. Oh boy...not that nasty word.

I reserve the right to "hate" Twilight, and the characters in it, because they are fictional and are incapable of having their feelings hurt. Plus, when I say "hate" I don't really mean hate...more like a strong dislike.

Now saying you hate a)Stephenie Meyer or b)Twilight fangirls, is another matter entirely. Both are people and have feelings. Yes, fangirls can be extremely annoying sometimes, and I hate (dislike) that they are annoying, but it's unreasonable to say that you "hate" them. Additionally, being a bad writer isn't a crime that is worth hating someone over. Really.

I say this because, I have been told by someone before that they hated me because I liked Twilight. Not only was that not true, but it was also very hurtful.

Moral of the story: THINK about what you're saying. It's okay to think that Twilight is a heaping pile of dog poo, but when you bash it, be sure you respect the feelings of others.

Okay, glad I got that off my chest.

As for other news...

The ~UnknownRegions club for minor Star Wars characters is well under way...please submit entries and spread the word!

Also, I'm pretty much done with all your requests right now--with the exception of a couple--so I'm not recopying the request list.
